The Falmouth Transportation Management Committee is asking community members to complete a survey about downtown parking and traffic.

Available online at, the 10-minute survey seeks public input about the area between the Falmouth Village Green and Gifford Street, including Main Street, Katharine Lee Bates Road and Town Hall Square.

“The committee has been gathering information and data about downtown, and now it wants to hear from you, the business owners, the workers, the visitors, the shoppers, the diners and the residents to see what is working and not working,” committee chairman Edward J. DeWitt said. “Ultimately, the committee wants to improve the downtown experience for all travelers, whether arriving by foot, bicycle, bus, car or truck.”

In addition to asking why people visit the downtown area, the survey asks how people get downtown and their thoughts on paying to park, shuttle services and signage. The survey is anonymous.

Due to the nature of the survey, it is only available online.
