Police and firefighters in Falmouth responded to a rolled-over van on Gifford Street Sunday afternoon, May 31.

Falmouth Deputy Fire Chief Scott J. Thrasher said that at 3:12 PM, firefighters were called to the scene of a small van that had rolled onto its side. The accident happened in the area of 500 Gifford Street, near Pine Valley Drive.

The driver had left the vehicle by the time firefighters arrived, Dep. Chief Thrasher said. He said that the driver declined transport to a hospital.

The rollover did not result in any fuel or hazardous materials leaks, Dep. Chief Thrasher said.

Firefighters were on the scene for about 20 minutes. The vehicle was towed away.
