A Barnstable County grand jury indicted on September 3 Austin L. Winbush, 22, of East Falmouth on charges of trafficking fentanyl, possession to distribute methamphetamine and possession to distribute a Class B substance.

Falmouth police arrested Mr. Winbush on May 29 after officers searched a house on Carolyn Lane and found 128 grams of heroin combined with fentanyl, more than 4 grams of methamphetamine and more than 15 packets of Suboxone, police said. Also seized was material used to package illegal drugs, including digital scales, a cutting substance and sandwich bags; and more than $2,400 in cash.

The search occurred around 5 AM at 49 Carolyn Lane. The warrant was the result of a narcotics investigation by the Falmouth Police Department that revealed Mr. Winbush was selling illegal drugs on a regular basis.
