A man doing tree work in Falmouth was fatally injured Friday, January 31.

Paramedics and police were called to a Willow Field Drive address in North Falmouth at 2:41 PM when someone reported that a member of a tree-trimming crew had been injured.

A 38-year-old East Falmouth man was treated by paramedics at the scene and taken by ambulance to Falmouth Hospital. Police said that he did not survive his injuries.

The Cape & Island's District Attorney's Office has identified the man as Kevin Pimental.

The incident is under investigation by the Occupation Health and Safety Administration, the Massachusetts State Police detective unit that is assigned to the Cape & Islands District Attorney's Office, and the Falmouth Police Department.
