Falmouth police on Friday, May 29, arrested Austin Winbush, 22, of East Falmouth and charged him with trafficking heroin and fentanyl, and possession with intent to distribute methamphetamine and Suboxone, according to a statement from the Falmouth Police Department.

The search occurred on Friday at about 5 AM at 49 Carolyn Lane in East Falmouth. The search warrant was the result of a narcotics investigation by the Falmouth Police Department. The investigation revealed that Mr. Winbush was selling illegal drugs on a regular basis.

Police seized just more than 128 grams of heroin combined with fentanyl, more than four grams of methamphetamine and more than 15 packets of Suboxone, the statement read. Also seized was material used to package illegal drugs, including digital scales, a cutting substance and sandwich bags; and more than $2,400 in cash.

The Mashpee Police Department, Barnstable Police Department, Barnstable County Sheriff’s Office and the Upper Cape Special Response Team assisted with the execution of the search warrant.
