Actors Goldie Hawn and Kurt Russell were spotted in several locations in Falmouth last weekend.
There were reports of the long-time couple dining at The Flying Bridge on Falmouth Harbor, The Pickle Jar Kitchen on Main Street, the Landfall in Woods Hole, and getting coffee at Starbucks in Davis Straits. They were also seen shopping in the Dollar Tree in Falmouth Plaza.
Katie Estes, co-owner of the Landfall, confirmed that they were at the restaurant Saturday dining with friends. A few people took photos of them, but for the most part they were left alone, she said.
Staff at both the Flying Bridge and The Landfall said the couple were friendly and courteous with staff and customers.
Goldie Hawn’s son, actor Oliver Hudson, is married to Massachusetts native Erinn Bartlett Hudson, an actress and former model. Her parents, Brooks and Anne Bartlett, live on Queen Street in Falmouth.
Queen Street resident Dave Dearstyne posted photos on Facebook of his wife, Barbara, posing with Ms. Hawn and Mr. Russell before they left for Logan airport.
Ms. Hawn’s long career launched with the 1960s sketch comedy “Rowan & Martin’s Laugh-In.” She has starred in several films including “Private Benjamin,” “The First Wives Club” and “Death Becomes Her.” She starred in the 1987 comedy “Overboard” with Mr. Russell. His films include “Silkwood,” “Escape From New York,” “The Christmas Chronicles” and “Miracle.” They have been together for 37 years.
