On Wednesday, August 7, at 11:22 PM, Falmouth police checked the welfare of an unidentified female on Grand Avenue in Falmouth Heights who was “bloody and crying,” Falmouth Police Lieutenant Douglas M. DeCosta said.

The officer who located her found she was extremely intoxicated and had fallen and hit her head numerous times, Lt. DeCosta said.

Falmouth Fire Rescue personnel transported the woman to Falmouth Hospital for medical treatment against her will. Police followed the ambulance.
