A 32-year-old man crashed his Cadillac SUV through the exterior wall of a building on Clinton Avenue and fled the scene early Sunday morning, November 10.
The crash was reported at 2:09 AM at 217 Clinton Avenue.
Police were able to track the driver down and charge him with a marked lanes violation, negligent operation of a motor vehicle and leaving the scene of a crash, according to the Falmouth Police Department.
No one was in the building at the time, and nobody was hurt, Lieutenant Douglas DeCosta said.
A witness stated that the man fled the scene, but he later was found at his home in Woods Hole, where he was arrested.
