31 Teaticket Highway

Nature's Remedy submitted plans for 31 Teaticket Highway to the Falmouth Planning Board on February 13. If approved, the site will house the first medical marijuana dispensary in Falmouth.

Nature’s Remedy, a medical marijuana distributor, filed plans with the Falmouth Planning Board for a special permit to operate out of a commercial unit at 31 Teaticket Highway.

The location is part of a commercial condominium known as Tataket Square across from Stop & Shop. The medical marijuana dispensary Seven Point considered the location prior to Nature’s Remedy.

Nature’s Remedy has a host community agreement with the Town of Falmouth. Selectmen unanimously approved that agreement in November.

As part of the terms of the agreement, the town will receive 3 percent of the dispensary’s gross annual sales at its Teaticket Highway location. That number could mean anywhere between $150,000 and $300,000 in revenue for the town.

The plans filed with the planning department show about 3,000 square feet split between an office space and a retail space. The parking calculations at the bottom of the plans indicate 15 parking spaces available at the location.

The plans will not go before the planning board until mid-March.

“We’re looking forward to getting in front of the board,” said Robert C. Carr Jr., chief executive officer of Nature’s Remedy.
