Anthony J. Caruso, 95, of Falmouth died November 2.

He was born in Gaeta, Italy, the son of Margherita and Gaetano Caruso. The family immigrated to the United States and settled in Somerville.

After graduating from Somerville High School in 1943, Mr. Caruso joined the US Navy and served in the Pacific during World War II. He was discharged in 1946.

While he was working for Graybar Electric, he was recalled to the Navy during the Korean War, in 1951; following his service he returned to Graybar. During the evenings, Mr. Caruso studied at Northeastern University and graduated with an engineering degree in 1959.

He married Jeannette Wynne in 1974, and the couple later settled in West Falmouth. He became a member of Woods Hole Golf Club.

In addition to his wife, he leaves two daughters and a son; six grandchildren; a great-grandchild; two brothers; and extended family.
