Audrey M. Kamataris, 91, of North Falmouth died January 3 at Cape Cod Hospital of complications from a medical procedure.

She was the wife of Harry A. Kamataris. They had been married for 40 years at the time of his death in March 1990.

Ms. Kamataris was raised in Clinton and graduated from Becker Junior College.

She and her husband moved to Falmouth in 1950.

While raising their five children, Ms. Kamataris worked in the business office of Falmouth Public Schools for 23 years.

Active in the community, she was a volunteer for the Child Study Club, Junior Outlook Club, Falmouth Hospital Auxiliary, Falmouth Chamber of Commerce and Falmouth Senior Center, and also served on the board of Friends of Falmouth Senior Center.

Ms. Kamataris was a member of the First Congregational Church of Falmouth for 70 years, where she served on the board of deacons, as a Sunday School teacher, and in the women’s union.

She leaves her children, Harry L. Kamataris, Paula H. Judge, John P. Kamataris, Jayne L. Reeves and Ann M. Rennie; 10 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; five siblings; and extended family.

She was predeceased by four brothers and three sisters.

A private graveside service will be at Massachusetts National Cemetery in Bourne.
