Barbara J. McDonald of Falmouth died May 26 at Cape Cod Hospital. She was 82.

She was the widow of Robert J. McDonald.

Born in Newton, she was the daughter of John and Gertrude Kett.

Ms. McDonald worked at Honeywell for 20 years and lived in Bellingham for 17 years.

She and her husband moved to West Barnstable in 1984 and together they opened an antique shop on Route 6A in Sandwich. She also worked as a certified nursing assistant on Cape Cod.

She enjoyed the ocean, painting and reading.

Ms. McDonald leaves her two brothers, John Kett and Robert Kett; and her nieces, nephews, cousins and other family.

Visitation is Thursday, May 30, from 10 AM to noon at Chapman, Cole & Gleason Funeral Home, 475 Main Street in Falmouth.

A funeral home service will begin at noon, with interment to follow at Massachusetts National Cemetery in Bourne.
