Barbara Mullin

Barbara J. Mullin of East Falmouth died December 9 during a brief stay at JML Care Center in Falmouth. She was 88.

She was the wife of Martin J. Mullin Jr. The couple lived in Great Harbors from 1970 to 2013 and had been married for 56 years at the time of his death.

Ms. Mullin was born in Queens, New York, and was formerly of Framingham. She attended Becker Junior College and was an executive secretary at Boston University’s School of Business, and at Framingham State College.

After settling in Falmouth she was a member of the Falmouth Newcomers Club, Falmouth Encore, Falmouth Garden Club and Red Hat Society. She loved to play cards with her friends in the Great Harbors community and took her grandchildren and their friends to the pool there. She also attended all the athletic activities in which her grandchildren were participants.

She leaves her daughter, Pamela A. Mullin of Falmouth; her son, Martin J. Mullin III of Daytona, Florida; five grandchildren, Martin J. Mullin IV of East Falmouth, Raymond W. Aucoin III of Everett, Tara Mullin Spinola of Hendersonville, Tennessee, Devin Mullin Tardiff of Canaan, New Hampshire, and Connor Aucoin of San Diego, California; and extended family.

Services are private.

A celebration of her life will be at a future time.
