Beverly Ann Frye, 80, of Teaticket died Monday, August 23, at Falmouth Hospital.

She was the wife of Milton Warren Frye for 50 years. Her husband died July 17, 2018.

The daughter of Manuel and Nellie Moreira, she was raised in Dartmouth and New Bedford. She often helped out on the family farm, working with the animals.

After moving to the Cape, Ms. Frye followed a career in the food service industry, working in the cafeterias of the Falmouth, Mashpee and Barnstable public schools. She enjoyed interacting with the students and especially seeing family members and the children of friends.

She and her husband enjoyed taking trips to New Hampshire and Florida, and loved going on cruises. The Fryes also traveled with elders of the Mashpee Wampanoag Tribe.

She leaves 13 children, Debra Silva, Curt Robidoux, John Thompson Jr., Kevin Frye Sr., Carolyn Turner, Milton Frye Jr., Donna Johnson, Bonnie Scott, Yvonne Avant, Joanne Frye, Ellen Sharp, Nancy Rose and Gregory Joseph; and many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be tomorrow beginning at 10 AM with a funeral service at 11 o’clock, at Chapman Funerals & Cremations, 74 Algonquin Avenue in Mashpee.

Burial will follow in the Old Indian Cemetery in Mashpee.
