Brian Francis Dailey, 49, died unexpectedly at his home in Falmouth on December 31.

He was raised in Beverly and spent summers in New Seabury. He graduated from Bishop Fenwick High School in Peabody in 1989.

After serving in the US Army, he attended Southern New Hampshire University, from which he graduated with a degree in marketing.

Mr. Dailey spent most of his career in the healthcare industry. He lived in North Carolina, West Virginia and then Cape Cod, ultimately settling in Falmouth, where he worked for a local hospital for the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.

He had an appreciation for nature and the outdoors that he shared with his two sons via hiking, camping, boating and skiing.

He leaves his parents, Marcia Clancy Dailey and Frank J. Dailey; a brother, Sean P. Dailey; his sons, Jackson Dailey and Kevin Dailey; as well as his former wife, Christine Monaghan Dailey.

A celebration of his life is planned for a future time.
