Charles S. LoGiudice of North Falmouth died March 12. He was 88.

He was the husband of Nancy J. (Gaudette) LoGiudice.

Born and raised in Brockton, he was the son of Charles and Theresa LoGiudice.

Mr. LoGiudice was a US Navy veteran, a member of the submarine service on the USS Irex.

He began his career working in the family barber shop, Charles Barber Shop, alongside his father and his two brothers, in Brockton.

He earned his degree from Stonehill College while working and raising a family.

Mr. LoGiudice accepted a position at the Plymouth County Family Court Department, and early in 1998 was promoted to chief probation officer, as reported in the Enterprise that spring. At that time he was serving as a conservation commissioner in Falmouth and was vice president of the Precinct Five Association.

He had also served for many years on the board of directors in his neighborhood Seascape Association in North Falmouth.

In addition to his wife, he leaves two sons and two daughters; nine grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and other family.

He was preceded in death by his two sisters, Mary Buckley and Frances Moynihan, and his two brothers, Mario LoGiudice and John LoGiudice.

A funeral Mass was celebrated on Tuesday, March 16, at St. Elizabeth Seton Church in North Falmouth.

Burial was at North Falmouth Cemetery.
