Christopher L. Lopes, 50, of Falmouth died December 19.

Son of the late Edmund L. and Lois A. (Ellis) Lopes, he was the youngest of their nine children.

He was raised and educated in Falmouth.

Mr. Lopes worked in automotive mechanics and did landscaping.

He had a love for all animals, especially dogs.

He leaves three sisters, Lori Lopes, Karen Hutchins and Terry Rabesa; two brothers, Timothy Lopes and Raymond Lopes; and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers Robert L. Ellis, Edmund L. Lopes Jr. and James L. Lopes; and a nephew.

A memorial service will be planned for a date to be announced.
