Daniel Packard MacDonald of Falmouth died August 21, two weeks before his 96th birthday.

Mr. MacDonald was widowed twice; his first wife, Eleanor (Morse) MacDonald, died in 1976 and his second wife, Teresa W. MacDonald, in 2011.

He was born in Brockton, the son of Daniel G. MacDonald and Inez P. MacDonald.

After living in Brockton for many years he moved to Easton, and then settled in Falmouth in 1973.

He leaves a daughter, Susan M. Sheehan of Cataumet; a son, Gregg W. MacDonald of Sagamore Beach; three stepchildren, Maura McMann of Scituate, Robert McMann of Lake Mary, Florida, and Michael McMann of Weymouth; two grandchildren, Caitlin W. Sheehan of Boston and Stephen E. Day of Buzzards Bay; two step-grandchildren, Jennifer McMann and Jessica Williams of Florida; and other family.

In addition to his wives, he was preceded in death by his sister, Jean L. Knoepke.

Visitation will be Wednesday, September 4, from 5 to 7 PM at Chapman, Cole & Gleason Funeral Home, 584 West Falmouth Highway.

A memorial service will be Thursday, September 5, at 10 AM in the funeral home, followed by burial at 11:30 at Massachusetts National Cemetery in Bourne.
