David William Goglia, 51, of North Falmouth died June 12.
Formerly of Fairhaven, he excelled in academics and was an accomplished athlete, concentrating on track.
Mr. Goglia performed in several theatrical productions in high school and college at Colgate University, where he majored in neuroscience. He also was an avid crocheter and after college he learned how to weave cloth using an old wooden loom.
He leaves his mother, Charlyne (Keating) Goglia of North Falmouth; his father, Vincent C. Goglia Jr. and his wife, Roberta (Melton) Goglia, of Portsmouth, Rhode Island; a brother, Vincent C. Goglia III of Mashpee; and other family.
Visitation will be Monday, June 21, beginning at 10 AM with a service at 11 o’clock, at Chapman Funerals & Cremations, 475 Main Street in Falmouth.
Burial will follow at Oak Grove Cemetery on Jones Road in Falmouth.
