Word has been received that Deborah Ellen (Correira) Kennedy, 57, of Port Charlotte, Florida, died June 27. Ms. Kennedy, a former resident of Falmouth, had a long battle with cancer.

She was born in Wareham and lived in Falmouth before moving to Florida in 2006.Ms. Kennedy worked in the food service industry for many years.

She loved music and dancing, and was a collector of M&Ms memorabilia.

She leaves her husband, Stephen Kennedy; her mother, June Worden; her stepfather, Wes Worden; two children, Tiffany Goulart and Ronald Goulart; a sister, Cindy Correira; a nephew, Nathan Medeiros; two grandchildren; and other family.

Visiting hours will be Wednesday, September 11, from 6 to 8 PM at Chapman, Cole & Gleason Funeral Home, 475 Main Street in Falmouth.

A graveside service will be Thursday, September 12, at 11 AM at St. Anthony’s Cemetery, 167 East Falmouth Highway.
