Douglas Perry

Douglas Scott Perry of East Falmouth, who ran a successful business in that village, died August 9. Mr. Perry, 48, died at Falmouth Hospital after a brief illness.

He was the son of John M. Perry and Patricia A. Perry of East Falmouth.

Born in Marion, he lived most of his life in East Falmouth.

Following his 1990 graduation from Upper Cape Cod Regional Technical School in Bourne, Mr. Perry started a career in customizing cars and motorcycles.

In 2009 he became the owner/operator of Waquoit Auto Sales, Inc. and Waquoit Customs. Mr. Perry loved being a part of the business community in East Falmouth.

He was a parishioner of St. Patrick’s Church in Falmouth.

In addition to his parents, he leaves a daughter, Breanna Nicole Perry of Falmouth; a nephew, Noah Perry-Lewis of Brockton; an uncle and an aunt, Lou and Blanche Perry of Mattapoisett and another uncle, Barry Barrows of New York; and many cousins.

He was preceded in death by a sister, Nicole Perry.

Visiting hours will be Friday, August 16, from 4 to 7 PM at Chapman, Cole & Gleason Funeral Home, 475 Main Street in Falmouth.

Burial will be private.
