Edward Misbach

Edward J. Misbach, 98, of East Falmouth died at home on September 2.

He was born in New Haven, Connecticut, the son of Joseph Misbach and Louise (Oed) Misbach.

After graduating from Hill House High School he joined the US Navy.

During his military service he was an aviation radioman and a gunner. He received the Distinguished Flying Cross and Air Medal.

Mr. Misbach then attended Ryder College and earned a degree in accounting. He worked for F&F Concrete as an accountant.

Prior to settling in Falmouth he was a resident of East Haven, Connecticut.

He leaves three children, Lisa Critzer of East Falmouth, Edward M. Misbach of East Haven, Connecticut, and Jim Misbach of Guilford, Connecticut; nine grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and extended family.

Visitation will be Tuesday, September 10, from 9 to 10:30 AM at Chapman, Cole & Gleason Funeral Home, 475 Main Street in Falmouth.

A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11 o’clock at St. Patrick Church, 511 Main Street in Falmouth.

Burial will follow at 12:30 PM at Massachusetts National Cemetery in Bourne.
