Francis J. Barrett III, 68, of Falmouth died Sunday, April 4, at Cape Cod Hospital.

He was the husband of Sheryl Morris Barrett; they were married September 20, 1980.

He was born in Attleboro, the son of Francis J. Barrett Jr. and Beatrice Barrett.

After attending Lawrence High School, Mr. Barrett worked at Woodbriar Hotel. The remainder of his career was spent painting with Robert Bowman Builders.

He coached baseball and built lasting friendships with the players on his teams. He also loved to fish and sit by the ponds in town.

In addition to his wife, he leaves his son Christopher Morris and his partner, Anna Konyn, and their three children, and his son Francis J. Barrett IV and his fiancée, Carli Taylor, and their two children; a sister; three nieces and a nephew; and other family.

In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by two sisters and two nephews.

Visiting hours will be Monday, April 12, from 3 to 5 PM at Chapman Funerals and Cremations on Main Street in Falmouth.
