Gloria A. Gonsalves, 93, of Schaumburg, Illinois, died February 9 at home. She was formerly of Falmouth and leaves family here.

She was born in Nantucket, the daughter of John Gebo and Clara (Figueira) Gebo. She was raised and educated in East Providence, Rhode Island.

She was the wife of Peter C. Gonsalves Jr. They were wed in Wareham in September 1946 and had been married for 72 years when he died on October 1, 2018.

Ms. Gonsalves was a homemaker and had lived in Falmouth for many years before retiring to Hudson, Florida, with her husband.

She leaves two daughters, Donna M. Garcia and her husband, Ronald Garcia, of East Falmouth and Kimberly A. Gonsalves of Wakefield; two sons, Peter C. Gonsalves III of Falmouth and Carl S. Gonsalves and his wife, Marion Gonsalves of Schaumburg, Illinois; eight grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren.

In addition to her husband, she was predeceased by a son, Gregory P. Gonsalves, who died in 1995; and a brother, John R. Gebo Jr., who died in 1984.
