Irene L. Dahill of Venice, Florida, formerly of Falmouth, died July 20 at The Windsor of Venice assisted living facility. She was 84.

She was born in New Bedford to Patrick and Irene (Cawley) Muldoon.

Following her 1959 graduation from St. Elizabeth School of Nursing in Brighton, she had a 35-year career as a registered nurse. She retired in 1995.

She married Frederick T. Dahill in New Bedford in 1965, and the couple lived on the Cape for most of their years together, moving to Falmouth in the mid-1970s. Mr. Dahill died in 1995.

Ms. Dahill moved to Florida 25 years ago to the residential community of the Plantation Golf & Country Club in Venice.

She leaves four nephews and a niece.

In addition to her husband, she was predeceased by three sisters, Patricia Travers, Mary Gaughan and Florence Muldoon.

A memorial celebration in Falmouth is planned for a later date.
