Word has been received that Isabel Louise Krause, formerly of Falmouth, died May 2 in Miami, Florida. She was 85.
She was born and raised in Falmouth, one of the four children of Bernard F. and Martha (Hallett) Rogers.
After graduating from Lawrence High School in 1951, she attended school in Boston for two years and then moved to New York City for a job with Eastern Airlines.
She met Henry J. Krause, a native of NYC who also worked for Eastern, and they were married at St. Barnabas Episcopal Church in Falmouth.
She and her husband had been living in Florida at the time of his death in 1995.
She leaves a son, Henry B. Krause; a daughter, Lisa L. Krause; and eight grandchildren.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her sister Margaret M. Fry, in 2015, and earlier by her brother, James F. Rogers, and sister Martha Sabo.
Burial was Saturday, July 13, at the Church of the Messiah in Woods Hole.
