Margaret Ellen (Walsh) Giannino, 86, of Rotonda West, Florida, died January 3. She leaves family in Falmouth.

Born and raised in Worcester, she was the daughter of Elizabeth (McGovern) Walsh and James Walsh, both natives of Ireland. She graduated from St. Peter’s High School and Salter Secretarial School.

She and her husband, Leo Giannino, owned and operated the Anderson Chrysler Automobile dealership in Attleboro. During their retirement the couple divided their time between their homes in Newport, Rhode Island, and Florida.

Ms. Giannino had a lifelong love of photography and enjoyed boating and golfing. She had summered in Mashpee, recently, where she enjoyed playing cards and volunteering at the food pantry run by Parish of Christ the King.

She leaves her sister, Mary P. Moran of Worcester; her brother and sister-in-law, John J. Walsh and Gail M. Walsh of East Falmouth; two stepdaughters, Cheryl McGrath of Scituate and Cynthia Landanno of Winchendon; two stepgranddaughters; and extended family.

She was preceded in death by her husband.

A celebration of her life is planned for Friday, February 7, from 5 to 8 PM at Chapman, Cole & Gleason Funeral Home, 74 Algonquin Avenue in Mashpee.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday, February 8, at 11 AM at Parish of Christ the King in Mashpee. A reception will follow in the parish hall.

Interment will be private.
