Nicholas H. Costanza, a former resident of Mashpee who graduated from Falmouth High School, died May 19. Mr. Costanza, 41, died at his home in Brighton.

He was born in Milford, the son of Thomas E. and Jacqueline D. (Hoener) Costanza.

As a youth living in Mashpee, he attended high school in Falmouth, graduating with the Class of 1998. He furthered his education at University of Massachusetts in Boston, from which he graduated with a bachelor of arts degree.

Mr. Costanza worked as a union carpenter at Cheviot Corporation in Needham.

In addition to living in Mashpee, he had also lived in Whitinsville before settling in Brighton.

He leaves two brothers, Anthony T. Costanza of Austin, Texas, and Scott L. Costanza of Johnston, Rhode Island; two nieces, Giavanna L. Costanza and Zoe B. Costanza; and a nephew, Jacob T. Costanza.

A funeral Mass was celebrated yesterday at Sacred Heart of Jesus Church in Hopedale.

Burial will be private.
