Peter Francis Rae of West Falmouth died on June 4 after a long illness. He was 66.

Mr. Rae grew up in Woodside, New York, and graduated from Power Memorial Academy in New York City.

He moved to Cape Cod in 1992 and lived in West Falmouth for 25 years.

He worked for the United States Postal Service and retired after 41 years of service.

A longstanding member of the Knights of Columbus, he was an avid New York Yankees and New Orleans Saints fan.

Mr. Rae also loved music, sports and Spectacle Pond. He enjoyed sending postcards to family and friends, which included his signature closing, “Stay Experienced, AllRaes.”

He leaves his children, Brian Rae and his wife, Tatiana Rae, and Jennifer Rae; their mother, Karen Rae; a brother James Rae and a sister Veronica Delevan; a niece, Melinda Fasano, nephews Ryan and Rob Rae and Joseph Whitaker; many cousins; and other family.

He was predeceased by his parents, James I. Rae and Veronica A. Rae; brother Joseph C. Rae and sister Regina M. Whitaker.

Visiting hours will be from 4 to 7 PM on Monday, June 10, at Chapman, Cole & Gleason Funeral Home, 475 Main Street, Falmouth.

A funeral service will be held at 11 AM on Tuesday, June 11, also in the funeral home.
