Thelma M.L. Martins, 86, of East Falmouth died March 9.

She was the wife of Carlos T. Martins, to whom she was married for 66 years.

Ms. Martins was a former resident of Salem.

She enjoyed gardening; and painting, knitting and sewing were among her other hobbies.

In addition to her husband, she leaves three children, Donald Martins and his wife, Lisa Martins, of Peabody, Susan Alvear of Alton Bay, New Hampshire, and Roland Martins and his wife, Patricia Martins, of Sandwich; six grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; a sister; and other family.

Visitation will be Saturday, March 27, from 9:30 to 10:30 AM at Chapman, Cole & Gleason Funeral Home, 475 Main Street in Falmouth.

Following visitation, a funeral Mass will be said at 11 o’clock at St. Patrick’s Church at 511 Main Street.

Burial will be at St. Joseph Cemetery, 407 Gifford Street in Falmouth.
