Virginia A. Dierker

Virginia A. Dierker died on April 30 at her home of 33 years in West Falmouth. She was 96.

Born in Beaver Falls, Pennsylvania, to Charles H. and Jessie Boyd Adams, she grew up on the family’s large apple orchard, appropriately named “Adam’s Apples” at Millrock, Ohio. The orchard had stables for 30 horses, which led to her becoming an avid lifelong rider.
