Falmouth High School’s strong start to the girls’ soccer season continued on Wednesday, September 14, as the Clippers won a close game against their rivals from Sandwich at the FHS all-purpose field, 2-1. The Clippers improved to 3-0 to start the season under new Head Coach Jenna Noelte. Sandwich dropped to 1-2 to start the year.

All of the scoring in the rivalry tilt came in the first half, with FHS jumping out to a 2-0 lead. Sandwich was able to cut the deficit to one, but the Clippers defense held off numerous Knights bids to knot the score in the second half in front of goalie Julia Roman.
