Daniel Holt

Coach Bill Andrade tweaked his lineup recently in hopes of sparking some more offense for the boys’ soccer team. One of those moves was having junior Daniel Holt take on a bigger role in the middle of the field in hopes of sparking the offense up front. It seems to be working. Holt scored his first varsity goal last week and came back with two in a win over Mashpee on Monday afternoon, tying him for the team lead in goals for the season. “In his quiet way he gets the job done,” Andrade said. “He’s surprised me in terms of his poise in the box, his composure. He doesn’t seem to get rattled...he’s a humble sniper.”
