Falmouth High School will be holding the 21st Annual Flag Football Powder Puff (juniors vs seniors) Game and Tailgate on Monday, November 22, from 5 to 7 PM on the multipurpose turf field at Falmouth High School.

The evening will begin with a Tailgate Party from 5 to 6 PM. FHS parents and staff will cook and serve burgers and hot dogs on a gas grill. There will be hot chocolate, soda and water, chips and condiments. Staff has been asked to donate the food for the event and there will be no charge to those who attend. There is still a need for frozen burgers, hot dogs, rolls, individual bags of chips, cases of soda and water. Anyone who would like to donate should contact Amy McKenzie in the Student Activities Office at Falmouth High School at amckenzie@falmouth.k12.ma.us or 508-540-2200 extension 3037.

Promptly at 6 PM, the game will commence. Caitlin Dugre, a physical education teacher at Falmouth High School, will coach the senior squad. Courtney Lima and several junior football players will coach the junior girls squad.

In addition to the coaches and parents, many volunteers will help make the evening safe for all. Referees will be organized by Amy Bruce, a FHS coach and organizer of a Women’s Flag Football league out of Barnstable. Don Drew will provide transportation for the grill for cooking. The custodial staff will assist with set up of the area. Principal Mary Gans, Assistant Principals Henry St. Julian and Tom McManamon, Class Advisors Lynn Campbell, Courtney Lima, Caitlin Dugre, and Rachel Paine along with Student Activities Coordinator Amy McKenzie will be on hand to be sure everything runs smoothly.

The event is open to all and the Classes of 2022 and 2023 hope that many from the community will come out for an evening of fun.
