Falmouth High School sophomore Henry Gartner placed 11th at the prestigious Frank Mooney Invitational Cross Country Meet last weekend. The Clipper was the second fastest sophomore in the race, and had the best time of any of the Cape Codders running in the race.

Gartner finished his race in 16 minutes and 22 seconds. With COVID-19 rules in effect for the meet, each heat was limited to 12 runners who were seeded. Gartner was seeded in the second-fastest heat and ran the second best time in his heat.

Falmouth Academy’s Tarun Gonneea placed 138th overall in his first big meet. Gonneea ran a time of 19:31.

Bianca Greco of Falmouth also competed. She was the lone female from one of the two Falmouth high schools to participate. She ran a time of 23:11 and placed 133rd overall.
