This year’s edition of the annual Run Jack Run Road Race, the ninth running of the race, will be a virtual edition to adhere to social distancing outlines due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The race will be free, with no need to register.

Race organizers are asking anyone to join in Saturday, July 4, for a virtual one-mile Run Jack Run family run, walk, stroll, swim, hike, bike or dance. However people are able to move, the event is to celebrate the memory of Jack Pearsall and to bring awareness to the dangers of drunk driving in our communities, especially on this holiday and through these busy summer months.

Runners are asked to wear year’s past Run Jack Run T-shirts or Fourth of July-themed gear and to take photos and videos to share for the annual slideshow of the event. Photos and videos can be emailed to or shared on the race’s Facebook page. If anyone would like Jack’s PACT wristbands or kids race medals, please contact to arrange a contactless pickup or drop-off.
