Falmouth resident and FHS graduate Alexa Scribner was drafted in the 14th round, 53rd overall, by Mo-Beel USA of the American Softball Association. The ASBA is a women’s professional softball league based out of Alabama.

Scribner will join her team for a season that begins next week and runs through the end of July. Scribner recently graduated from New England College where she set the school’s all-time stolen base record. She was drafted as an outfielder. She batted .375 her senior season at NEC. She was also a member of the women’s ice hockey team at the school and had three goals and three assists her senior year.
