The Falmouth Board of Selectmen will hold a public hearing under Section 240-77 (Wetland Regulations) of the Zoning Bylaws of the Town of Falmouth on Monday, December 21, 2020 at 7:30 p.m. in the Selectmen's Meeting Room, Falmouth Town Hall, on the application of Wild Harbor Yacht Club for permission to reconstruct the existing boat ramp in the same location as currently, located at 386 Wild Harbor Road, North Falmouth, MA.  Body of water affected is Wild Harbor.  Interested parties may review the file on this hearing by contacting the Select Board Office.

In accordance with the Governor’s Order Suspending Certain Provisions of the Open Meeting Law, G. Request for Proposals for Lease of Emerald House, 67 Davisville Road

The Town of Falmouth invites proposals for lease of an historic structure known as the ‘Emerald House’ and associated parking area located on 67 Davisville Road, East Falmouth for philanthropic or educational purposes. The Town’s primary objective with this RFP and subsequent lease is to ensure the structure is utilized in a manner that allows for continued public access to the interior of the historic structure. Bid documents will be available starting at 12:00PM, December 4, 2020 by contacting Peter Johnson-Staub, Assistant Town Manager at townmanager@falmouthma.gov  (508) 495-7320.  Sealed proposals must be prepared and submitted in strict accordance with the instructions and requirements contained in this Request for Proposals (RFP) and must be received no later than 12:00PM on January 19, 2021, at:

The FALMOUTH CONSERVATION COMMISSION will hold a public hearing under Section 40, Chapter 131 of the general laws of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts Wetlands Protection Act and/or the Town of Falmouth Wetlands Protection Bylaw on Wednesday, December 16, 2020 at 7:00 PM. 

In accordance with the Governor’s Order Suspending Certain Provisions of the Open Meeting Law, G. L. c. 30A, § 20, relating to the 2020 novel Coronavirus outbreak emergency, the December 16, 2020 public meeting of the Falmouth Conservation Commission shall be physically closed to the public to avoid group congregation. 

Alternative public access to this meeting shall be provided in the following manner:

1.The meeting will be televised via Falmouth Community Television.

2.Real-time public comment can be addressed to the Conservation Commission utilizing the Zoom virtual meeting software for remote access.  This application will allow users to view the meeting and send a comment or question to the Chair via the Chat function. Submitted text comments will be read into the record at the appropriate points in the meeting.
