8:36 PM: Officer Katie Hennessey performed a warrant service at a residence on Algonquin Avenue. The warrant out of Falmouth District Court was serviced to Christopher M. Sherwood, 41, of Mashpee, for a temporary probation violation.

Wednesday, May 13

1:16 PM: Mashpee police responded to reports of a stolen motor vehicle at Botello’s Lumber Company on Bowdoin Road. Following an investigation, Detective Michael Cook arrested Paul D. Zion, 67, of Marston Mills for larceny of a motor vehicle and breaking and entering a motor vehicle. Police said that Mr. Zion was walking through the Botello’s parking lot when he saw a vehicle with the keys in the ignition, at which point he stole the vehicle. Investigators used surveillance footage to identify Mr. Zion and arrested him at his residence in Marston Mills a few hours later.
