1:52 PM: Patrolman Jeffrey Donnis issued a summons during a traffic stop on Route 151 to Cody J. Litchfield, 27, from Falmouth on three charges, including driving with a suspended license, having no inspection sticker for his vehicle, and for a license plate violation.

5:04 PM: Patrolman Peter Cogswell responded to Marshalls in South Cape Village for the report of shoplifting. Bonnie G. Files, 63, from Mashpee had allegedly tried to steal a number of items from the store, including bath and body works, clothing, make-up and other items. When confronted, she scratched an employee, police reported. She was arrested on shoplifting by aspiration for her third offense, as well as assault and battery.

8:56 PM: Patrolman Kristopher Threlkeld arrested Paul A. Lumsden, 38, of Mashpee during a traffic stop on Route 151 for a default warrant out of Falmouth District Court for driving with a suspended license.

7 PM: Patrolman Michael Cook issued a summons during a traffic stop on Quinaquisset Road to Daniel L. Diprete, 59, of South Dennis, for driving with a suspended license and failing to meet a safety inspection.

9:01 AM: Patrolman Cogswell issued a summons to Stephanie S. Romanowicz, 32, of Marstons Mills during a traffic stop in Mashpee Commons for driving with a revoked registration and an uninsured motor vehicle.

10:26 PM: Patrolman Katie Hennessey responded to Route 130 for the report of an erratically operated motor vehicle. The patrolman came across a vehicle that had crashed into a utility pole in in the area. Police charged Nicholas A. Laurie, 35, of Marstons Mills for driving under the influence of liquor for a subsequent offense, negligent operation of a vehicle, and for a marked lanes violation.

12:43 AM: Police responded to Meetinghouse Road near Great Neck Road North after multiple reports of shots fired and a vehicle driving fast in the area. Officers came across a vehicle and pulled the driver over. During the stop they came across not only an open container of alcohol but a .223 semi-automatic rifle without a serial number. Police charged two people during the incident with multiple charges. Phillip C. Hicks Jr., 26, of Mashpee was arrested for driving under the influence of liquor, driving with an open container of alcohol, negligent operation of a vehicle, carrying a large capacity rifle, carrying a large capacity feeding device, possession of ammunition, improper storage of a firearm, and defacing a serial number. Wayra Gomez-Wixon, 25, of Mashpee was also charged with possession of a large capacity rifle, a large capacity feeding device, possession of ammunition, improper storage of a rifle and defacing a serial number. Police referred the case to the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives.

11:57 AM: Officer Benjamin Tamish issued a summons during a traffic stop on Route 28 to James P. Rodgerson, 28, of Buzzards Bay for driving with a suspended license, subsequent offense.

5:33 AM: Patrolman Hennessy issued a summons during a traffic stop on Old Barnstable Road to David R. Gassett, 49, of Mashpee for operating a vehicle with a revoked registration and an uninsured vehicle.

1:39 PM: Patrolman Donnis arrested Kathleen L. Ward, 47, from Mashpee on a straight warrant out of Falmouth District Court for driving an uninsured vehicle and with a suspended registration during a traffic stop on Ryan’s Way.

4:08 PM: Patrolman Daniel Girard issued a summons to James A. Willis, 36, of Teaticket for driving with a suspended license, subsequent offense, during a traffic stop on Route 28.
