Three people were injured in a car crash at the intersection of South Sandwich Road and Route 130 in Mashpee Wednesday, September 29, around 12:30 PM.

The crash involved two vehicles. One was attempting to turn east onto Route 130 from South Sandwich Road when it was hit by the second vehicle, which was traveling west on Route 130, the Mashpee Police Department said.

There were two occupants in the vehicle that was struck, and both occupants were injured and transported to an area hospital. The driver and sole occupant of the other car was also injured and transported to an area hospital, police said.

Mashpee police are investigating the incident.
