An inmate at the Barnstable County Correctional Facility allegedly threatened on August 3 to kill a corrections officer and his family.

Kelesto G. Salmon, 21, was assigned to administrative segregation while being held as an inmate at the correctional facility. A corrections officer was working as the supervising unit officer when Mr. Salmon made threats to kill him and his family, according to an incident summary.

“When I get out of here, I’m coming to find you, to kill you and your family,” he allegedly said to the officer. “I’m going to look you up and come to your house. Your family is mine; I will kill everyone in your family tree.”

Mr. Salmon then allegedly began to kick his door with extreme force while continuing to threaten the officer, according to a report.

Mr. Salmon is from Falmouth, but has a residence in Hyannis. His pretrial hearing is scheduled for December 3.
