Mashpee Select Board Meeting September 19

Interim Town Engineer Raymond Jack discusses changes to Phase 2 of the town wastewater project.

Due to insufficient funding needed to award the alternative bids on the first three contracts of Phase 1 of the Town of Mashpee’s wastewater project, the town has filed a project evaluation form with the State Revolving Fund to request $12 million in additional funds to compete the project.

“We have insufficient funds to award any of the remaining alternatives beyond this [initial bid], so the solution would be the SRF-PEF [State Revolving Fund-Project Evaluation Form] process,” Interim Town Engineer Raymond A. Jack told the Mashpee Select Board during its meeting Monday, September 19.
