Around 11:46 PM on Sunday, November 21, Mashpee Police Officer Todd Barzarewsky responded to a report of a stolen motor vehicle.

Officer Barzarewsky identified Dustyn K. Lifgren, 28, of East Falmouth and issued him a summons for larceny of a motor vehicle.

Around 12:34 PM on Sunday, Officer Matthew Koch found and began to pursue Mr. Lifgren in a motor vehicle on Job’s Fishing Road. Mr. Lifgren allegedly began to speed and drive through power lines, and it became too dangerous for officers to continue the pursuit.

Officer Koch issued a summons to Mr. Lifgren for failure to stop for police, speeding, marked lanes violation, failure to stop at a stop sign and operating a motor vehicle to endanger.

The stolen motor vehicle was recovered on Red Brook Road at 12:51 PM on Tuesday. Officer Benjamin Tamash issued another summons to Mr. Lifgren on charges of defacing and damaging property and larceny under $1,200. Police have not been able to find Mr. Lifgren as of Wednesday.
