Mashpee Middle-High School senior Emma Holmes is a member of the Key Club, National Honor Society and National English Honor Society.
Emma was a member of the yearbook club and environmental club during her junior year.
She has been involved in sports throughout her time at MMHS, including varsity soccer, lacrosse in 7th, 8th and 11th grades, basketball in 7th and 8th grades, and cheerleading in 8th grade.
“My favorite memories will always be the pep rallies, football games, spirit weeks, all of my soccer seasons, homecomings and senior project fun events,” Emma said. “I will for sure miss Mr. Smith’s funny, warmhearted crazy self! He was always the one who saw so much potential in me from the start. I appreciate all he did for me as his student.”
Emma said one of her memories is the time she broke her collarbone during a gym class in 2017.
“I will never forget being wheeled out on the stretcher in front of the entire cafeteria then riding in the ambulance alone to Falmouth Hospital because my older brother had to finish a project in class,” she said.
After graduating, Emma said, she plans to attend college and pursue a degree in radiology. She hopes to become an X-ray technician, live somewhere warm and start a large family.
