The Mashpee School Committee will meet Wednesday, September 18, at 5:30 PM in the library of the Quashnet School to hold its first business meeting since the start of the new school year.

Student representative Skyla Rimple is scheduled to provide a report and John Hanlon, a representative from the Mashpee Wampanoag Tribe, is set to speak.

A report from Superintendent Patricia DeBoer will include information on how school year is going so far, an update on the proposed use of School Choice funds, and information on a town plan to install solar panels at the Kenneth C. Coombs and Quashnet schools.

The superintendent and the school committee will both provide updates on their goals.

The committee will also discuss the Fiscal Year 2020 and 2021 school calendars, the committee’s policies regarding public comment, and traffic flow at Mashpee Middle-High School.
