Two donkeys got loose from a farm on Orchard Road in Mashpee and headed toward Willowbend Country Club Wednesday afternoon, June 22. A group of Mashpee police officers and other town staff members were able to return the animals safely to their owners.

According to a social media post from the owners, Lauren Dupont and Nathan Masters of Sandy Orchards Farm, one of the donkeys managed to kick out a section of fencing, allowing the pair to escape.
