Donald A. O’Driscoll of Mashpee and Lady Lake, Florida, died February 6 from complications of congestive heart failure. He was 81.

He was the husband of Maureen (O’Connor) O’Driscoll for 60 years.

Mr. O’Driscoll was a longtime employee of The Boston Edison Co., now Eversource.

Born in Boston, he was the son of Daniel A. O’Driscoll and Marion Wengler.

He served as a reservist in the US Marine Corps.

Prior to his retirement, during which he enjoyed his favorite pastimes of gardening and golfing, he was a 30-year resident of Medfield.

He leaves three children, Daniel O’Driscoll and his wife, Julie O’Driscoll, of Medway, Sean O’Driscoll and his wife, Lindsay O’Driscoll, of Holliston, and Noreen Sheridan and her husband, Peter Sheridan, of Medway; and six grandchildren, Kathryn Stiefel, John O’Driscoll, Mary O’Driscoll, Kristen Sheridan, Maggie Sherida, and Claire O’Driscoll.

A funeral Mass was said on Wednesday, February 13, at St. Edward the Confessor Church in Medfield.

Burial followed at Vine Lake Cemetery in Medfield.
