Dorothy E. Robinson, 83, of Mashpee died November 12.

She was the widow of Peter H. Robinson.

She was born in Newton, the daughter of Sarah Doherty (Campbell) and Richard Kent.

Ms. Robinson enjoyed working for many years as a florist for Seabrook Flowers in Hyannis.

She also enjoyed gardening, and among her favorite Cape Cod spots was Rock Harbor, where she loved watching the sunset and eating lobster rolls from Young’s Fish Market.

She leaves six children, Donald MacKenzie, Debbi MacKenzie, Dennis MacKenzie and his wife, Mary MacKenzie, Denise Keefe and her husband, Robert Keefe, Deanne Torpy and her husband, Joseph Torpy, and Peter Robinson; 12 siblings, Marjorie Dean, Nancy Gallant, Daniel Kent, Irene Caracci, Jackie Roche, Jean Santillo, Gail Kneeland, Arthur Kent, William Kent, Sally Liberatore, Susan Kent and Dollie Unger; as well as many nieces, nephews, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She was predeceased by her daughter Dawn MacKenzie, her son Darrell MacKenzie, and her brothers Robert Kent and Richard Kent.

Visitation will be Sunday, November 24, from 1 to 2 PM with a funeral home service to begin at 2 o’clock at Chapman, Cole & Gleason Funeral Home, 74 Algonquin Avenue in Mashpee.

Burial will follow at Great Neck Woods Cemetery in Mashpee.

A celebration of the life of Dottie Robinson will take place at The Navigator at 55 Ashumet Road in East Falmouth.
