Francis E. Igo, 92, of Mashpee died April 22.
He was the widower of Mary A. (Woodworth) Igo.
Mr. Igo was a veteran of the US Navy who served during World War II.
He was graduated from College of the Holy Cross in the Class of 1950.
Mr. Igo had a long career in the restaurant industry. He was the owner and operator of Igo’s restaurant in Cambridge until its closing in 1981. For the next 25 years, he was manager of The Tavern Club in Boston.
Before moving to Mashpee, he was a former resident of Arlington and Woburn.
He leaves his children, Francis E. Igo Jr. and his wife, Karen Igo, of California, and Ruth M. Habbe and her husband, John Habbe, and Brian E. Igo, all of Mashpee; four sisters, Lillian Igo, Marie Spinale, Sally Bensel, and Geraldine Mood; five grandchildren, Alexandra Theriault, Taylor Habbe, Francis E. Igo III, Spencer Igo, and Mackenzie Igo; and four great-grandchildren.
He was predeceased by four siblings.
A memorial visitation will be Saturday, April 27, at 11 AM at the George L. Doherty Funeral Home, 855 Broadway in Somerville.
A service will follow at noon at the funeral home.
Interment will be private.
